As it turned out, the Russian Armed Forces is poorly prepared for military campaigns. It is possible that such participation of the Russian army, which is considered the second largest army in the world (in number but not training), was meant in Ukraine. Assault units did not pass inspections on the battlefield. Much of the military equipment was lost, and the one that was saved could not be repaired.
Sanctions do not hinder tanks?
While the Russian army has been "valiantly" in Ukraine for more than 20 days with a peacekeeping mission, bombing peaceful cities, Russia has been forced to stop the Uralzavod and Chelyabinsk Transport Plant conveyor lines due to a lack of components. It is these companies that repair and manufacture tanks. This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the social network.
It will not be possible to quickly restore the shortage of spare parts, as the supply of imports was "seized" by Putin's people to withdraw additional funds to the so-called "pool" and buy yachts from defense budgets.
But the biggest problem is observed in Russia not because of tanks and armored personnel carriers, as well as about 100 downed planes, and the lack of more or less experienced personnel. Reservists, even as cannon fodder, do not compensate for the lack of manpower, and among the current military there are cases of desertion and capture of the Armed Forces.
However, the Russian Federation organized "field" repairs of armored vehicles, where employees of these companies work.
