In an interview with Mark Feigin, Oleksiy Arestovych said that a group of 12,000 Russian troops was concentrated near Kyiv, 3,000 of whom were surrounded, another 4,000 were in a very unenviable position and virtually cut off from Russian logistics.

According to Arestovich, there may be up to 12,000 personnel near Kyiv, but the figure may be less than 10,000. Among them, 3,000 are almost surrounded, 4,000 are "cut off and are in a very unpleasant place, from where neither to the right nor to the left."

Oleksiy Arestovych previously predicted that active hostilities in Ukraine would end in the second half of April.
