Soviet air defense systems will take their former place on Ukrainian heights, in the bases of the military air defense group of the union period. The Ca-8 systems will be delivered from the United States, where they were stored after studying the technology. Slovakia will hand over the C-300 system to Ukraine
Last week, the Pentagon chief visited Slovakia, which operates the Soviet C-300 air defense system. It was proposed to hand over the system to Ukraine, while Britain will hand over the Patriot air defense complex. However, under NATO conditions, its operation will require American personnel who must be specially trained.
A few days ago, the movement of the Patriot air defense complex in Europe was noticed. At the same time, Russia protested against the transfer of C-300 air defense from Slovakia to Ukraine.
These air defense systems almost completely solve the issue of airspace security in Ukraine.
